Moving - Where do you start?

 Firstly you need to pick a moving date when the Contracts have been exchanged. The ideal times to pick would be Tuesday to Thursday as Fridays, Mondays and Holidays will no doubt be the busiest times for removal companies in any area.

 Search for the best quote, to be honest you don't need to do a lot of searching you can click here. Of course you can always ask family or friends that have moved recently for any advice or recommendations. Of course you can always go to the British Association of Removers (BAR) or National Guild of Removers and Storers (NGRS) for your own assurance. They can supply the names of Companies in your area that operate under a strict code of Conduct.

Whoever you use for your removal make sure they have the relevant insurances. Its no good finding out this information when its too late. Most companies that supply a quote via email or post will show the additional cost for insurances. Don't be afraid to ask to see a copy of their insuarnace. After all anyone can say they have the relevant insurance however, seeing is believing.
